Tip When Kubota PTO Will Not Engage : When you see the PTO indicator light illuminated, understand that the light represents the linkage. The engagement inside the rear gearbox is not actually being sensed. Also, if the PTO clutch and gearbox are engaged, and the PTO still does not turn, then your problem is likely extensive.
12/2/2019 · The BX pto clutch has no electronics to engage . It is a hydraulic valve your actuating mechanically with the clutch lever that causes oil pressure to engage a multi-plate wet clutch. It should engage instantly, not even a short delay, before the lever is reaches the lock position. If there is any delay there is something wrong.

11/17/2013 · I have a kubota bx2200 and for some reason the mid pto will not engage . The rear pto works fine and Ive tried it in the 3 different lever options and it still wont work. If I hold the lever up into the mid only option with the tractor running it will grind.

All are working. We have had not issues with the PTO until this point. Front Pto was used each winter to run a snowblower.
